The Leiden Ballet & Theater School, founded in 1984 and managed by Carol Schrijnemaekers, is situated in the historical center of Leiden. The school offers a large variety of high standard classes for every age and level all taught by qualified teachers.

The school provides everything you can expect of a professional and modern ballet school in both instruction and design. Our facilities include: four spacious air-conditioned studios, large dressing-rooms, a sauna, a tanning studio and a friendly bar, The Green Room, to lounge and relax in. We also provide opportunities to work with a physical therapist.

In addition to a wide range of recreational classes, the school offers a professional curriculum for students who wish to pursue a professional dance or theater career. Through an intensive program students prepare to audition at various dance and theater academies.
